The next step for Frank Iero and the Patience comes in the form of ‘The Future Violents,’ with an album entitled ‘Barriers’ scheduled to be released on May 31, 2019.
The returning members are Frank Iero and Evan Nestor with Matt Armstrong, Tucker Rule and Kayleigh Goldsworthy being new.
In an episode of Casual Interactions podcasts – a podcast Frank Iero records with his friends – Frank was asked about the title of the band. According to him, a flight attendant had asked if he was in a band called “The Future Violence”.
Frank wasn’t, but the name appealed to him and said he saved it for later. He further goes to describe that he views people who consciously make the decision to live as violent people; as is the act of surviving. He chose to change “violence” to “violents” to reflect that people are active in that action. Frank also adds that he does not mean it in a negative connotation – rather a positive survival action.
